"Eminent domain must not be used for private gain..."

That's the message of the Susan Dunavan involving the Keystone X–L pipeline.

And she feels so strongly about it that she's suing the governor.

A hearing was held today in the Nebraska landowners' lawsuit.

Judge Stephanie Stacy heard both sides and will make a decision at a date yet to be determined.

Dunavan is joined by two other Nebraskans who feel the governor's pipeline approval was unlawful.

Beforehand, Bold Nebraska had a rally on the steps of the Lancaster County Courthouse.

A ruling in favor of the landowners would induce another reroute for TransCanada's pipeline.

Bold Nebraska's Jane Kleeb says she feels her side was well represented.

She's optimistic about Judge Stacy's decision.
