After not hearing his name called last night, Husker defensive back Stanley Jean Baptiste was to hear it called tonight in round 2 by the New Orleans Saints.

Stanley Jean, a converted wide receiver moved up the draft board.

Stanley Jean goes as the 58th pick of the draft and the 25th choice in the 2nd round to join Drew Brees and the Saints.

They compare him to DB Richard Sherman of the Seattle Seahawks.

Stanley is the 7th Husker defensive back taken in the last 5 years.

Husker guard Spencer Long has been taken in the 3rd round as the 78th pick by the Washington Redskins, a already has former Huskers Roy Helu Niles Paul and Will Compton.

Spencer has recoverd from Knee surgery that knocked out of 7 games last season after being hurt at Purdue.
