The Adams County Fairfest entertainment lineup is out, and a popular face will be making another appearance in Central Nebraska, Country star Lee Brice.

He surprised the small town of Milligan last weekend for Pepsi's "Hyped Up for Halftime" event.

If that wasn't enough for you, he'll be back.

Fairfest officials say they've had Brice locked in for this summer's fair since December, but his appearance this month was just as much a surprise to them as it was for the public.

They're hoping it will boost ticket sales for the fair.

"I just think his appearance down there, giving everybody just a small taste of how he's performing and how he is, everybody there will come here." Said Sandy Himmelberg, manager of the Adams County Fairgrounds.

The concerts kickoff on Wednesday, July 16th with the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band.

That's followed by Lee Brice on Thursday, July 17th.

Then on Friday, July 18th, Casey Donahew takes the stage.

Thomas Rhett will wrap up the fair's musical entertainment on Saturday, July 19th.

The grandstand however won't be quiet on Sunday, July 20th. The Nebraska Bush Pullers Tractor Pull will compete starting at 5 pm.
