Just weeks away from the May 13th primary, big changes are shaking retired Army Colonel Tom Brewer's campaign for Congress.
NebraskaWatchdog.Org is reporting that two of Colonel Brewer's top campaign workers have resigned. In the last week, campaign manager Christine Vanderford and communications consultant Dan Parsons both left the campaign, citing differences in philosophy and management styles.
Rumors have swirled that the duo left because Brewer brought in his friend, retired Colonel Tony Baker of Florida. Baker told Nebraska Watchdog, that's not true and that he's been working on the campaign through email and phone since January.
Baker, as well as Brewer and his wife are now working together as campaign manager. Brewer is running against incumbent Adrian Smith for the Third Congressional District seat.
