High winds are wreaking havoc across the state. It took multiple agencies to put out a massive field fire just north of Bradshaw this afternoon.
Power crews on scene told News 5 the fire spread after a power line snapped and fire quickly spread down the wooden pole and into the field.
Crews from Bradshaw, York, Henderson, and Hampton worked to put out the several acre fire. But their efforts were hindered by the strong wind gusts.
Smoke from the fire spread for miles, forming a black cloud over the town of Bradshaw.
The fire comes just two days after another grass fire jumped the Interstate and closed down a portion of westbound I-80.
