The Nebraska Supreme Court has decided to hear oral arguments on the horse racing Amendment. In an attempt to block historic horse racing from being allowed in the state, Gambling with the Good life has called to question whether the measure violates the state's separate presentation clause.
As it is written, Amendment 1 asks voters two questions; whether they approve of having historic horse racing machines, and how the money generated should be spent.
The Supreme Court has scheduled oral arguments on the case for August 27th at 2 p.m.
