Do a little time. Do a lot of good. It may not be real jail, but dozens of people were locked up inside Murphy's restaurants in Hastings Thursday.

Each person was trying to raise $1600 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association in order to make bail.

One group representing the Disabled American Veterans took the challenge seriously donning a black and white striped jumpsuit and the pair even showed up in a Hastings Police car.

"They brought us from the Hastings Police Department down to the Wagon Wheel in a police car with the sirens on and we were actually handcuffed, so this is a great cause. If you can think of anything to do for these people, it would be great," said Deborah Hansen.

News 5"s Jeniffer Berry and Colin Murphy were also there. For more on their experience visit our Youtube Channel. .
