A trio of bills in Nebraska's legislature could affect the future of voting.

Omaha Senator Bob Krist introduced the bills on behalf of Secretary of State John Gale.

LB 661 would make registering to vote a little bit easier. You could visit the Secretary of State's website and register online with valid state identification.

LB 662 is trying to fight potential voter fraud. Voters who forget to return their change of address cards or in some cases, first time voters will have to show a valid state identification.

The third bill, LB 663 would expand mail-in elections. Right now only counties with less than 10,000 people can hold mail in elections. This would open it up to all counties.

Do you approve, or disapprove, of work done this session in the Nebraska state legislature?
