An art heist in Hastings? Hastings College is asking for the public's help after a 6 foot by 3 foot painting was stolen from the school's Art Center.
School officials first realized the large painting was missing on April 21st at 10:30 PM but they are not sure how long it was gone. The painting, titled, "Rabbits Invade Mysterious Mr. Y's Studio" is valued at 1,500 dollars.

Alicia O'Donnell with Hastings College says the large piece of artwork is made out of and framed in wood and could not be easily hidden.

The painting hung in a stairwell in the College's Art Center on 7th Street. Screws holding the painting up were pulled out of the wall.

Anyone with information about the painting or its whereabouts is asked to call the Hastings Police.
