More complications in the process to select a new University of Nebraska president, one that could make the selection of Governor Dave Heineman a bigger challenge.
The selection committee has released a profile of the qualities being sought in a new president. Among them - academic credentials equivalent to a tenured professor, a PhD, teaching experience, and a record of research and scholarship.

The profile was prepared by university administrators and two search committees with input from faculty and student government leaders.

Governor Heineman has made public his interest in becoming the next president last month.
