The Pius High School student accused of attacking another student in a school bathroom, is asking a judge to move her case to Juvenile court.

According to the Lincoln Journal Star, Sarah Piccolo's lawyer says she doesn't have a criminal history and can get the services and treatment she needs through the juvenile court system. The 16 year-old pleaded not guilty in adult court last month to first degree assault, and using a weapon to commit a felony for the attack. She is accused of attacking a senior at the school with a knife and a hammer in a school bathroom on October 7th. She is out of the Lancaster County Juvenile Detention Center on personal recognizance bond.
