The FBI, in partnership with the national center for missing and exploited children have announced the results of "Operation Cross Country" including at least eight arrests here in Nebraska.
More than 100 teenagers involved in sex trafficking and exploitation were rescued in the operation in coordinated raids in more than 70 cities.
The 72 hour raids also resulted in the arrest of one hundred 50 suspects.
One person was arrested in Omaha related to the crackdown and 7 others were taken into custody in Lincoln.
According to the Lincoln Journal Star, five women were arrested for prostitution, one man was arrested for soliciting sex from a police officer, and another man was arrested for being a pimp.
Lincoln police did not find any child prostitutes.
