Republican U.S. Senate debate to be held in Gering

A debate has been set for the four Nebraska Republicans running for the U.S. Senate. It will be held in Gering on Wednesday, January 29th.

The candidates participating in the debate are, Sid Dinsdale, Bart McLeay, Shane Osborn, and Ben Sasse. This will be the first debate between the four. They are running on the Republican ticket for the seat that will be vacated by Senator Mike Johanns.

Other candidates vying for the seat include Democratic candidate David Domina and Independent Jim Jenkins. This debate is sponsored by the Nebraskan Republican Party and the Nebraska Farm Bureau Federation.
