Obituary for Rhonda J. McNairRhonda J. McNair, 57 of Grand Island died Friday, February 28th.
Celebration of life services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at All Faiths Funeral Home. Dan Naranjo will officiate.
To honor Rhonda’s wishes cremation has taken place.
There will be a gathering of family and friends from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at All Faiths Funeral Home.
Rhonda was born August 3, 1956 at McCook to Robert and Rosemary (Finch) Arnold.
Survivors include her children, David McNair of Grand Island, Jacob McNair and his fiancé, Molly Parsons of Raleigh, NC, Stacy (Wade Nez) McNair of Marquette and Sara (Alex) Erickson of Grand Island; sisters, Becky (Tom) Rauh of Casper, WY and Rita (Keith) Snyder of Fairbury and brother, Bob (Helen) Arnold of Crawford.
Those also left to cherish her memory are grandchildren, Iziah, Zaden and Aiyana Nez, many nieces and nephews and special aunt, Glenda Tucker. Rhonda was an honorary mom to many.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Rhonda graduated from Benkelman High School, class of 1974. She attended McCook Junior College and graduated from Joseph’s College of Beauty in Grand Island. She was united in marriage to David McNair in 1975.
Rhonda worked for Gerald’s Roffler with Gerald and Judy Collins for many years. She purchased the business and later the name changed to Rhonda’s Roffler Family Hair Center. To her customers, Rhonda was a psychiatrist, psychologist, and psychoanalyst, advisor to the lovelorn, tax consultant, marriage counsellor, fashion coordinator and just a plain friend. In her salon she was a stylist, financial wizard, cleaning women, stock-clerk, receptionist, and purchasing agent and very, very, tired! Rhonda was wealthy in love with family and friends.
A memorial will be established in memory of Rhonda.
