Robert  "Bob" Webster
Robert G. “Bob” Webster, 71, of Grand Island died Sunday, May 04, 2014 at Grand Island Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
Graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Grand Island City Cemetery. Rev. Lonnie Logan will officiate. Military honors will be provided by the United States Army and the Grand Island Veterans Honor Guard. 
Bob was born November 27, 1942 in Wilmington, N.C. to Harvey and Bernice (Willis) Webster.
Survivors include his wife, Jeanie Webster; stepdaughters, Patty Barker of Shelton and Joyce Gonsuron of El Reno, OK; one brother and three sisters.
Those also left to cherish his memory include a brother-in-law, Larry Hegwood of Grand Island; sisters-in-law, Krissy Hegwood and Kathy Hegwood, both of Grand Island and Joyce Brammer of Blair, formerly of Grand Island; several nieces and nephews; and his four-legged pals, Teddy and Bear.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and stepsons, James Kelly and William Kelly.
Robert enlisted in the United States Army on March 1, 1961, and was honorably discharged February 28, 1964. He then enlisted in the Army National Guard, serving a total of 29 years with the military.
He was united in marriage to Jeanie Hegwood on March 1, 1969 in Junction City, KS. 
Bob was a member of Disabled American Veterans and the American Legion.
After serving as a cook in the army, Bob continued with his love of cooking and barbequing.
