The 2014 race for Nebraska's soon to be vacant U.S. Senate seat, has drawn a big pool of Republican candidates, Shane Osborn is one of them.

Chris Schukei talked with the candidate on News 5 at 11:30. Here's what he said when asked about the GOP candidates seeming to push further and further to the right.

"I've got support across the spectrum and that's just because I think people know I'm going to tell you what I'm going to do and I'm going to do it and get it accomplished.  I like to get things done.  I think talk is cheap and so when I look at endorsements...I'm looking for instate endorsements.  We've had several come out from several state senators, but I plan to represent all Nebraskans.  I think we are all pretty fiscally well minded here in this state and that's the focus that's the threat to our country is the seventeen trillion dollars in debt and the fifty trillion plus in unfunded liabilities."
Osborn is running against Ben Sasse, Sid Dinsdale and Bart McCleay.
