While many of you are done unwrapping your Christmas gifts, for some, the fun is yet to start.
UPS is publicly apologizing after many gifts were missing from under the tree yesterday. That's because of shipping delays that have facilities like the shipping hub here in Hastings scrambling today.
UPS issued a public apology before Christmas to the customers whose packages did not arrive on time.
They say not only did weather play a part in the delays, but so did the shorter holiday shopping period.
News 5 reached out to UPS today to see how the deliveries were going. A UPS spokesman told News 5, "The volume of air packages in our system exceeded the capacity of our network as demand was much greater than the forecast. As a result, some shipments were delayed. We expect nearly all of them will be delivered today."
If your packages still have not arrived UPS recommends you access their website for the most updated information.
