It an exciting time for the Hastings Five Points Legion team...

They've won 7 of 8 going into tonight's game, and the team's refurbished ballpark Duncan Field reopens next week....

Let's go to tonight Five Points game at Kearney Runza.

We pick up action in the bottom of the 1st. Ben Clark is the runner at 3rd, and Alex Paganeman uncorks a wild pitch,and Clark is home for the run for a 1–0 lead.

Later in the inning, Hastings showing some defense as Sam Reimer makes a leaping catch robbing Kearney Runza of a basehit.

It remained 1–0 here In the 3rd. With a runner at first, the bouncer to 2nd by Hastings Five Points results in a 4–6–3 double play preserving the 1–0 lead.

In the bottom of the 3rd, Kearney Runza Matt Moore shoots one into left, two runs score and Kearney Runza takes a 3–0 lead.

Hastings would get out of further trouble by turning an around the horn double play. The Kearney Ruzna Club went onto defeat Hastings 5 Points 6-2.
