When the Hastings Tigers went on the road to take on the Eklhorn Antlers in the Class B Sub–State contest last week, they were determined to be road Warriors.

The Tigers came away with a 2–0 shutout paving their way to another girls state tournament.

Let's go to the Class B Quarterfinals here at Morrison Stadium in Omaha as the Tigers meet the Omaha Skutt Skyhawks.

Nice night at the stadium. Skutt scores first after the throw in to take a 1-0 lead at the half.

In the second half, the Tigers tie it up on a header by Alex Schmidt.

The game goes to overtime and Skutt has a chance to win the game, but a shot bounes off the crossbar.

To Penalty Kicks we go, and Bailey Petzoldt makes a great save in goal.

That sets up the winning PK by Marika VanBrocklin. Eureka!!! Marika!!! She wins it for the Tigers 2-1 upsetting the 2nd seeded Skyhawks.
