If it's Tuesday, it must be Belgium.
That is on the collective minds of the Team USA Soccer squad as they get ready for the "Knockout" Round, or Round of 16 at the World Cup Competition in Brazil.
The squad has been getting ready ever since advancing out of the so called Group of Death, having done so despite a 1–0 loss to Germany last Friday.
Team USA Goalie Tim Howard believes he and his teammates are keeping their emotions under control.
HOPEFULLY WE DON'T PLAY TOO TIGHT. KNOWING THE MOMENT AND ENORMADY OF THE SITUATION PUTS PRESSURE ON SOMETIMES ON PLAYERS AND IT DEPENDS HOW WE HANDLE IT BUT I THINK WE HAVE BEEN REALLY LOOSE AND ENJOYED OUR TRAINING AND AROUND THE HOTEL WE HAVEN'T BEEN TOO UPTIGHT SO I THINK WE'LL BE ABOUT TO HANDLE THE PRESSURE.
The squad made the trip from Sao Paulo to Salvador today as kickoff tomorrow is a 2:00 Central Time.
They'll face a Belgium team that is 3–0 in the World Cup competition and has been impressive.
