There is no doubt Nebraska's Ameer Abdullah looks to be one of the most exciting players in college football this season.

Before his senior season starts, he'll have quite an honor.

Ameer has been chosen for an ultimate "off the field" honor.

The senior from Homewood, Alabama will give the players address at the Big 10 lunchoen in Chicago July 29th.

All Big Ten football coaches will be there as well as several players from each of the now 14 teams in the league.

Ameer will talk about his life and times at Nebraska, the challenges of being a student–athlete and what he looks for in the future.

Each season one player from the Big 10 is chosen to speak at the luncheon and it is a tremendous compliment to that player.

I'm sure Ameer looks forward to his address and we are looking forward to hearing him that day in the Windy City where I'm sure he'll be an outstanding orator.
