Husker Softball Loses Super Regional 2 games to none

Watching last night's Super Regional Softball game between Nebraska and Alabama told us these two teams are extremely evenly matched.

"Bama defeated the Huskers 6–5 in 12 innings in the first of the best of 3....

Game Two was tonight with the Huskers hoping to force a 3rd and deciding game to send one team to the College World Series.

Let's go Tuscaloosa for game two.

Bama against Tatum Edwards in the first, Molly Fincher delivered a basehit with runners on first and third.

The Tide takes a 1–0 lead after a Husker costly error.

Then it's Marisa Runyon with a basehit to make it 2–0.

The Huskers get one back in the 2nd, on the bounce out by Austin Urness..

MJ Knighton comes across the plate and it was 2–1.

However, Jacklyn Trainia worked out of several jams, and the Huskers just coulnd't get the tying run across.

The fall 2–1 losing the series 2 games to none, Bama onto the Womens College World Series.
