When they tee it up against the Wyoming Cowboys a week from tomorrow, the Husker football team will be playing before close to 85 thousand people, the most ever in Memorial Stadium history. Just nine days before the opener, the brand new East Wing is open to see today. There are 6,000 new seats bringing the stadium capacity to 91,000 which is 4th largest in the Big 10 and within 500 seats of the largest college stadiums nationally. "This really completes the stadium. When we expanded other times we built the west stadium and with the medical facilities on the east side this really makes the stadium complete for us. This expansion is great for the Univeristy of Nebraska and puts the University of Nebraska at the forefront for serving the student athletes." . Part of the addition is some 2100 club seats as well as 38 suits. There are 101 in the stadium as well as the medical facilities Coach Osborne just mentioned, The Huskers are working on a 325 game consecutive sellout streak that'll be 326 next Saturday.
