We continue our high school football previews tonight

With a playoff regular ...the Sutton Mustangs

Who return a large corps...from last year's 7 and 3 club

News 5's Will Sherratt has more

"Talk about put yourself in a good position, put yourself in a good alignment."

The Sutton Mustangs HAVE been putting themselves in good positions as of late

With 4 straight playoff appearances

A quest for a fifth ...starts up front ...with 3 returning all district offensive linemen

"It's great being a running back knowing that they know where they are going, what guys they have to get and they aren't going to miss a block and have you get killed."

"Having an experienced line back makes us be able to expand our offense even further because they are able to pick up things a little quicker and we will be able to make in game adjustments a lot better."

The biggest challenge ...replacing Cole Wiseman ...a three year starter under center

The man tasked with filling the void...sophomore Tanner Peterson

"You know the kid played all varsity for us and within the first four or five games we led by 40 or 45 points so he's got about a half a year to three quarters of a year experience at the varsity level."

While peterson is getting his feet we as the starting signal caller, he'll be able to rely on a potential all state performer, in running back, Noah Johnson.

"He's a great runner. We know how to block the line and he knows what holes to go through. WE should have a good year."

"He's a 6 foot, two hundred and five pound running back the runs a 4.6 40. so it works really well in C–2 ball."

A horse the Mustangs hope they can ride, all the way to a state title

"No different than any other year. We are obviously hoping to get to the championship. I mean, it's what it is every year."
