Tamera L. “Tami” Trampe, 53, of rural Riverdale, died Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at her home.

Funeral services will be Monday, January 27, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Amherst. Rev. Bill Heermann will officiate and burial will be at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery northwest of Amherst. Visitation will be Sunday from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Horner Lieske McBride & Kuhl Funeral and Cremation Services in Kearney or prior to services Monday at the church. Memorials are suggested to Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery Trust Fund, Trinity Lutheran Church or the Amherst Fire Department. She was born April 27, 1960 in Kearney to Donald and Leora (Halford) Hendrickson. She grew up in Kearney and graduated from Kearney High School in 1978 then attended Kearney State College. On April 7, 1979 she married Rowland Trampe in Kearney. They have lived in the Riverdale area their entire married life where they farmed and ranched. Tami has worked at the Cowpoke in Kearney and Stockman’s Café in Amherst.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Amherst. She loved spending time with family and especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed the outdoors, gardening and horses.

Surviving relatives include her husband Rowland of Riverdale, son; Nicholas Trampe and wife Nicole of Laramie, WY and daughter Tiffany Pracheil and husband James of Laramie, WY and grandchildren; Josiah and Teagan, father; Donald Hendrickson of Kearney, NE, sister; Vickie Hendrickson and friend Dennis Riley of Beatrice, NE.

She was preceded in death by her mother in 2008.
