UNK Loper football coach Darrell Morris said it best.

The MIAA conference in which the Lopers begin their 3rd season tomorrow night is like the "SEC" of Division Two College Football...

The Lopers will sport their new under armour white uniforms when they visit Northwest Missouri for the season's opening kickoff just after seven.

If what coach Morris says is true, these Lopers who play defending national champ Northwest Missouri, are playing the "Alabama" of the MIAA...

So it's a tough assignment but the coach says "bring it on"..

It is a good opportunity for the team and we're looking forward to it, we've  brought in some new guys and I was concerned how they'd come together with the guys we already have here and we are starting to look like an MIAA team and we have to play like one.

Nebraska transfer Bronson Marsh is healthy and will start at quarterback, running back Romero Cotton looks for a good year behind the line anchored by NFL prospect Cole Manhart..

On defense leading tackler Tyke Koezal from Sargent will lead the way...

Northwest Missouri is defending national Division Two champs with much of their squad back.
