"Remembering Our Fallen" photo exhibit

We invite you to our special display of the traveling photo exhibit, “Remembering Our Fallen.” The exhibit honors the 98 men and women from Nebraska and western Iowa who have lost their lives in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. The photo exhibit is from the Strategic Air & Space Museum and was unveiled November 14, 2010. It has traveled to several communities across the state.

The exhibit will be on display July 8-15 at the 100th Meridian Museum, located at 206 E 8th Street in Cozad. The photos will be on display from 10 am to 4:30 pm daily or in the evenings by private appointment by contacting Judy Andres at 308-529-0606.

On Sunday, July 10, the photo exhibit will be open for viewing 1 pm-5 pm at the 100th Meridian Museum. The museum will be hosting a special ceremony Sunday honoring all those who have fought and died for our country’s freedom, as well as special events planned to honor our troops.

Sunday’s festivities begin with a free will donation hamburger feed from 11:30 am to 1 pm at the Veterans Memorial Park. The special ceremony will follow at 2 pm. The day’s events in the park will also include activities designed for children as well.
