Franklin High School Seniors Donate

It started out a simple idea of donating the left over money from the senior class treasury to a worthy cause. It ended up a profound experience in the lives of 23 Franklin High School Seniors. As word of the Senior’s plan spread throughout the community of Franklin, generosity and goodwill began to emerge and soon the Senior Class of Franklin High School had nearly $700 worth of pantry items and children’s toys to donate to the Children’s Hospital and Rainbow House in Omaha. But the story doesn’t end there. Through even more generosity a coach bus was rented to transport the seniors to Omaha so they could deliver the donated items in person and spend a little time with some of the young patients at the Childrens Hospital. The opportunity to foster a giving spirit and compassionate heart was a memorable event the Franklin High Seniors will forever remember.
