Habitat Lutheran Build Ahead of Schedule

In spite of a lot of rainy days, Grand Island Area Habitat for Humanity's Thrivent Build is a little ahead of schedule. Fortunately, volunteer groups and the partner family have been able to brave some muddy days and get us ahead of schedule, before we lost a day to rain.
As part of a nationwide effort to build Habitat homes, Thrivent Financial for Lutherans is providing financial support, and encouraging Lutherans to provide the volunteer support, on hundreds of homes across the country.
There are still a couple days still needing Lutheran groups in Grand Island. To keep the grant to build the home, volunteer groups on site need to be Lutheran.
