Memorial Day at Rosedale was fantastic. Jocelyn Topper was the speaker, Doniphan Legion performed the 21 Gun Salute, Eric Haile played Taps, Julie Adams led the singing. Approximately 100 attended the service. Honors were given to the fallen soldiers from the last year in the community. Rosedale has 29 Veterans buried in the cemetery, of the 29 only 1 KIA in WWII. The favorite part of the service for the younger kids is the decorating of the veteran graves.
